Carolyn Washburn, MS, CFCS
Carolyn Washburn, Associate Professor, is a Family Consumer Science Faculty for Utah State University Extension in Washington County. Carolyn’s responsibilities include financial management education, food safety and nutrition, healthy family relations, emergency preparedness and working with youth. She is the chair of the Washington County Marriage Coalition, promoting healthy family and marriage relations. Her goal is to build strong sustainable families. Her most cherished award is America’s Promise, awarded by General Colin Powell.
Darlene Christensen, MS, CFCS
Darlene Christensen, Associate Professor, is a Family Consumer Science/4-H Faculty for Utah State University Extension in Tooele County. Darlene provides educational programming and support in finance and consumer life, family and relations, food safety and wellness. She especially enjoys working with 4-H youth and helping them to “make the best better.” Darlene has led the movement for healthy marriage education in Tooele county since 2005.
Naomi Brower, MFHD, CFLE
Naomi Brower, Associate Professor, is a Family Consumer Science/4-H Faculty for Utah State University Extension in Weber County. Naomi has a Master of Family and Human Development degree from Utah State University and is a Certified Family Life Educator. Naomi has a passion for teaching about healthy relationships to improve people’s lives in her community. She is the founder and chair of the Weber County Marriage Coalition, with the vision of helping individuals create and sustain healthy relationships.
